That depends on the day's route and how much is already booked. Booking early in the day gives you the most choice. If the earliest opening does not suit you, pick the time that does, and we will confirm it before the visit.

Yes. The technician tests the appliance, explains which part failed and why, and quotes the repair. Nothing is replaced until you approve it. If a part has to be ordered, you hear that before you decide, along with what the return visit involves.

Not necessarily. Most household refrigerators and freezers are built for indoor room temperatures, and a closed Tampa garage in July runs far hotter than that. The unit may run nonstop, lose temperature or frost up. Clean the condenser coils and give it breathing room on all sides. If it still cannot keep up, we can tell you whether a part has failed or the location is the real problem.

If an appliance sat in floodwater, keep it unplugged and do not run it: water-soaked controls, motors and gas valves are a safety risk and need inspection first. After an ordinary outage, switch the appliance off at the breaker for a minute, then restore power. A blank display, a repeating error code or a fridge that will not cool after that usually means a damaged board, relay or sensor, and that is worth a visit.

It contributes to several. Front-load washers grow mildew in the door seal, refrigerator gaskets sweat, dryers take longer when the vent run is long or partly blocked, and exposed metal near the bay rusts faster. Leaving the washer door ajar between loads, wiping gaskets and keeping the dryer vent clear prevent many of these calls.

It depends on the unit's age, which part failed and what a comparable replacement costs. A worn pump, igniter or fan motor on a solid machine is usually worth fixing. A major failure on an older, inexpensive appliance often is not, and we will tell you so instead of selling you a repair that does not make sense.

Check that coverage first, because the manufacturer may fix it at no cost. If we find the unit is still covered, we will point that out. Once the warranty has run out, or if it does not cover the problem, we are glad to take the job.
