Terms of Service

Last updated: November 3, 2026

1. Service Agreement

When you schedule a repair with Tampa ProFix Repair ("Tampa ProFix," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms. We repair residential appliances, along with some light commercial equipment, in the service area described below.

2. Appointments and Scheduling

  • Arrival windows are estimates. Traffic, earlier jobs and weather can move them, and we will keep you informed if your window changes.
  • Please make sure an adult (18 or older) is present for the visit and that the technician can reach the appliance.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please tell us as early as you can so the time can go to another customer.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • After diagnosing the problem, the technician explains what is wrong and gives you the price before any repair work begins.
  • You decide whether to go ahead. No repair is performed without your approval.
  • Payment is due when the service is completed, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • Any information on this website is general. The price that applies to your repair is the one the technician gives you after diagnosis.

4. Warranty and Replacement Parts

  • Completed repairs carry a 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty.
  • The warranty covers the specific repair we performed. It does not cover new failures in other parts of the appliance.
  • The warranty does not apply if someone other than us works on the repaired part after our visit, or if the appliance is misused or damaged.
  • Replacement parts are original manufacturer parts or quality equivalents.
  • If your appliance is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, we will tell you, because that coverage may be the better route.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any repair is limited to the amount you paid for that repair. We are not responsible for:

  • Damage or wear that existed before our visit or is unrelated to our repair
  • Spoiled food or other losses caused by an appliance failure
  • Indirect, incidental or consequential damages
  • Appliances we advise are not worth repairing

6. Parts and Availability

Some repairs can be finished on the first visit. Others need a part ordered from a supplier. When that happens, we tell you before we leave and give you our best estimate of when the part will arrive. Supplier delays can lengthen a repair, so we cannot promise every job will be completed the same day.

7. Service Area

We serve Hillsborough County, FL, Pinellas County, FL, Pasco County, FL, and Hernando County, FL, Florida, limited to the ZIP codes listed on our service areas page. Appointments in the more rural parts of the area may be grouped on particular days.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
