33701 Service Area
Downtown St. Petersburg Appliance Service, ZIP 33701
33701 is the heart of St. Petersburg, and a service call here can mean a high-rise kitchen on Beach Drive or a hundred-year-old house a few blocks inland. The two visits look very different, so this page covers both.

(813) 412-5186Blocks nearest the water sit in the low evacuation zones, while much of the inland ground does not. That split matters after a storm: a tower garage or a ground-floor unit near the bay is where flooded appliances turn up, not the hillside homes in Roser Park.

Houses, Apartments & Condos Across the Tampa Bay Area
The ZIP holds the business district and the waterfront along Beach Drive, with Albert Whitted Airport at the edge of the bay. Going north it takes in Historic Uptown and the lower half of both Crescent Lake and Old Northeast. To the south and west it takes in Historic Roser Park, where houses step down the banks of Booker Creek, and the top of Bartlett Park.

Two Kinds of Downtown Visit
In a condo or rental tower, most of the work happens before the technician reaches the kitchen. Tell us when you book if the building keeps a vendor list, needs a service elevator reserved or limits work to certain hours, and mention where a van can park. In Uptown and Old Northeast the access is simpler, but older floors, narrow doorways and back utility rooms change how a washer or range gets pulled out. A photo of the model tag sent ahead lets us bring the likely parts.
Stacked Laundry Above Someone Else
Tower units usually have a stacked washer and dryer squeezed into a closet. The washer's fill hoses and drain sit behind it with little room to see them, and a slow drip can soak the ceiling below before anyone upstairs notices. Rubber fill hoses harden in time; braided hoses are a reasonable upgrade. Find the shutoff valve for your unit today, not in the middle of a leak.
The dryer in that same closet often vents through a long run to the outside wall. If loads take two cycles, the vent is a common cause, and we check it along with the heating circuit.
